Where there are people, there is a community, and where there is a community, there is struggle.
Under the rules#
The name of the train is becoming more and more well-known. On this day, a few thieves secretly sneaked into the village under the guise of tourism.
"What is the purpose of the train at the entrance of our village? Why does everyone go to the entrance to get a piece of paper as soon as it gets light?" Xiao Hei (thief) looked at a group of villagers chatting under a crooked tree and casually asked as he approached.
"Hey, isn't it because of that person named Satoshi Nakamoto who said that everyone can store things and they won't get lost?"
"Yeah, you can put things in a container where everyone can see. It's amazing. I can easily find out who is using my broom just by looking at the ledger."
"We get the piece of paper to calculate the password. Hey, I don't know either. My child calculates it every day. Their appetite has increased recently."
"Yeah, my child's appetite has also increased a lot. I heard that if you figure out this password, you can get a tip."
After chatting for a while, Xiao Hei roughly understood what was going on. He also went to the entrance and got a piece of paper, then returned to the house to study with his accomplices:
"Boss, this piece of paper is the key to getting close to that train," Xiao Hei described the obtained information to his companions.
"This is just fooling people. It's purely based on guessing numbers. Whoever guesses correctly gets the money. I think we should go and study how the train is assembled while it's dark. After all, although we haven't dismantled a train before, we have dismantled other equipment countless times."
"Okay, tonight let's go and see what it is."
The next day
A few people sat by the railway with panda eyes. "This tip seems to be generated out of thin air when connecting the carriages. Should we try replacing this connector with our own design to generate tips?" "Yes, this way we can connect the carriages ourselves. Let's go back and rest now. We'll work all night tonight and run away early tomorrow morning."
...
On the third day, as the rooster crowed, the villagers looked at the train, which inexplicably increased by two kilometers in length. The village chief went door to door asking what was going on, but no one knew...
The train conductor didn't know how to deal with these inexplicable carriages either, so he could only let it develop. New carriages were added to the traceable carriages as a fork, and the villagers continued to develop on these new carriages.
PS: The example of the broom is unrealistic because the blockchain system is anonymous, so it is impossible to know who has it, at most, only an address can be known.
In August 2010, hackers carried out the first blockchain attack through the Bitcoin's largest integer overflow vulnerability, forcing BTC to undergo its first hard fork.
